Thanksgiving is almost here!
At the Valhalla hangar, we’re taking some time to reflect on the things we’re grateful for. (There are lots!) We’d like to share some of these with you.
The Freedom to Soar
We love being able to take off! From our convenient West Kelowna hangar, we can reach the most beautiful spots in the valley in minutes. This time of year, that means our helis have the best views of the Okanagan’s tapestry of fall colours. Mountaintops dotted with evergreens and bright yellow aspens. The region’s numerous lakes, shimmering in the golden autumn sun. The buzzing city streets, so small down below. (“Oh, hey, worries and cares. You’re so far away!”). Let’s face it. We live in a paradise. How can we not feel fortunate to call this bountiful place home? Right now, it’s the season of plentiful harvests, crisp air, and changing foliage. We like to take every opportunity to experience it. Take in the shimmering plums and bright greens of the trees that line Kelowna’s avenues. Explore the rosy-hued orchards and deep green and yellow vineyards that cover the hillsides. View the gently-flowing waterfalls before they finish for the winter. Catch glimpses of our awe-inspiring and industrious wildlife as they prepare for hibernation. Tour the Okanagan’s best wineries and cideries (Valhalla’s pilots can get you there in style!). Visit an orchard or a pumpkin patch to collect some seasonal decor. Indulge in the area’s abundance, and find a way to appreciate this beautiful, fascinating region of ours!Our Loved Ones
Thanksgiving offers us the chance to spend time with family and good friends. Whether you’re bonded by genetics or by spirit, celebrating with your people is good for your heart and soul.
