Whether it’s your first time on a scenic Okanagan helicopter tour, or you’ve been up sightseeing before, you’re bound to have a few questions to prepare for your flight. We’ve compiled a list of some of our most commonly asked questions and answers to help you before you embark on your tour.
Is it rough and bumpy?
The ride is pretty smooth. Flying at the altitude that we do, we don’t hit turbulence.
Should I take a Gravol or Motion Sickness Medication?
Wind in the Okanagan is generally calm. Gravol isn’t necessary unless the person is prone to motion sickness.
Is it cold up there?
The tours aren’t cold unless the doors are off than we recommend bringing a sweater or something to cover up.
What to wear?
You can wear any regular clothes just be sure you have proper footwear and be prepared for the elements (keep in mind it may be warm in Kelowna but cooler at a higher elevation).
What about kids?
All kids are welcome to ride the helicopter. Kids aged 2 and under ride for free but must be seated on a parents lap.
